What I Learned in 2007

What I Learned

Two-thousand and seven is now at a close. It was a “blah” year for me. Nothing really bad happened. But nothing really great either. It was just there. It was my most financially abundant year. It was also my most over-worked year. It was successful. It was also lonely. Now with the heinsight of one day out of 2007, here is my list of things I learned this past year.

  • If becoming president does not work out, I still have a shot at being Nobel.
  • How to save my money.
  • How to waste my money.
  • To better take advantage of whatever little free time I have.
  • That I love reading a good social diatribe.
  • Facebook applications need to die. I don’t care if you want to get in a ninja-rap-battle with me, don’t ask.
  • 911 is not used only for emergencies, but also house calls. Booty calls? Cat calls? Any kind of call really.
  • Living with two guys does not automatically constitute a civil union.
  • Not having friends is okay. Friends not having me, however, is not.
  • I am selfish, jealous, greedy, annoying, overweight, lethargic, vengeful, indifferent, gluttonous, crude, sarcastic, hurtful, and feeble. It is these things which I will continue to work on through 2008.

  2. Well that is a given. Certainly not anything I have just learned this year. We are starting a campaign too - Stephanie Edwards for Grand Marshall 2009!

  4. Good pun. Does ‘rg’ stand for Rudy Giuliani?

  6. rg stands for “really great.” But it’s punctuated like this: Really? Great?
I found that blog you mention by searching the quote you posted.

  7. Oh, I also meant to say this: Living with two guys also does not not automatically constitute a civil union.

  8. write something new already. its time your blog was the topic of people’s discussions again, rather than someone else’s. but thats never going to happen if you dont actually write something.
