The Bat-Menu

This morning on my way home from school (9:45 am) I made sure to stop by to pick up a copy of Batman Begins, as it is out on DVD as of today. I waited in the front of Circuit City along with 25 other eager customers just waiting for the doors to open to get our hands on the long awaited DVD before supplies ran out.

Batman is by far my favorite movie of the year (the only movie that may have a chance to beat it is Disney’s Chronicles of Narnia opening December 9th), so naturally it is a must own on DVD. I have yet to watch it, but I did put the disc in to check out the DVD Menu and was a little disappointed. No special features aside from the Theatrical Trailer. In addition, the link coloring on the menu is poor - making it difficult to distinguish a highlighted link from a normal link from a selected link. The Menu is nothing special - just video from the film fading in and out. With such an awesome movie, why not ship it with an equally incredible DVD?

Though I am dismayed at this, I know a good movie lies behind the poor links. Tonight I will get all dolled up and watch it with a bowl of ice cream.

  1. yes that movie was basically cool….. how was the ice cream?? was it cookie dough yummmm! yeah i havent eaten ice cream in quite a while… wut with all the extra calories….. but im glad u have that freedom lol…… ROCK ON JON SHOE ROCK ON!

  2. Vanilla. I like it plain. Though I love ice cream, I cut calories by taking out the cookie dough and unneccesary additions to the very core of what I want. But I watched Batman tonight, and it is in my top 10 of all time favorite movies. I feel like I need to beat people up now - or at the least have a disguise.

  3. yes that tends to happen… hmm oh well i think ill go eat ice cream now…. i seem to want it rather badly….. ull b happy to kno ive put on a good amount of weight with being bak so why not go all out and eat some ice cream…. hmmm i think ill get on that now… thanx jonathan!
